• Enclosing Files

Snap Mail allows you to send files and the clipboard along with your mail.

To enclose a file with your mail, click on the paper clip pop-up menu in the OutBox and select “Enclose File...” from the available options.

You can also use Cmd-N.  When you do this, the standard Macintosh file-selection dialog box will appear for you to pick the file you want to enclose.  Each time you click on the “Enclose File...” selection, you may add another enclosure.   A number will appear in the pop-up menu box indicating how many files you have currently enclosed.  If you have enclosed one or more files, you will see the list of these files when you click on the Enclosure pop-up menu.  There is no limit to the number of files you can send with your mail, and the files can be of any size.  To remove all files from your enclosure list, select the “Clear Enclosures” option from the Enclosure pull-down menu.

 • Enclosing the Clipboard

You may also send the contents of the clipboard along with your mail.  To do this, simply choose the “Enclose Clipboard” option from the enclosure pop-up menu.  If the clipboard is being sent, you will see a picture of a clipboard appear in the enclosure pop-up.  Whatever you have most recently copied into the clipboard will be sent along with your mail.  You can use the clipboard to send graphics, text, or anything else that you can cut and paste.  If you decide you don’t want to send the clipboard, you can choose the “Enclose Clipboard” option again and the clipboard will no longer be sent.
